In the early months of the pandemic I started a series of works on paper called "Candid", small-scale self-portrait oil sketches. Using self-timer photographs taken in my bedroom, my old flowered duvet cover and childhood stuffed elephant made their debut. "The Bedroom Pictures" are fully realized iterations of the "Candid" sketches.
